Hey, how are yuh?

I have many ideas in which Halo: Reach could be improved (assuming that the game is a FPS and related to Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST).

1. <BALANCE>
Halo 3 in no way, shape, or form is balanced. Im a avid Halo player and have been playing the halo series since Halo: CE, and i have come to realize that it is next to impossible to make a perfectly balanced game. BUT, in my eyes, there is a way halo could be slightly more balanced. First off removing the dual wield option, and making the guns that are dual wieldable more powerfull and ranged (kind off like the needler from halo 3). Making the melee less powerfull (ie. insterad of it removing ones shield have it remove only half) improve the range of the shotgun, make the BR take one more burst to kill someone, not just 4 to the head but 5, same with carbine. Also after playing Halo 3's big team battle for many hours I have come to realize how useless vehicles are now because of the spartan laser; the laser just makes being in a vehicle (especially)a double kill on wheels. If the spartan laser were to have 3 shots or 2 it wouldn't be as "annoying".

2. <Multiplayer>
Multiplayer in halo 3 is fun and addictive and besides the balance that I covered above the only other issue is lag. Lag will allways be in online games but dedicated servers does reduce the lag quite significantly but I would not expect bungie to use that in thier upcomiong title Halo: Reach, but it would be sick!

3. <Theatre>
Theatre was very innovative and a great addition for Halo 3 but there were some problems and issues with it that could've ben fixed. The most obvious was not being able to rewind; like when a couple of buddies and I got the Vidmaster: Annual achievement and after I wanted to take a video of something I had thought to be cool, so I FF through like an hour of gameplay and when I finally accidentally passed the part, and then I had to go back and FF all over again. Also I cant watch clips over xbox live but i can watch full videos/games (I'm not sure if thats a problem i'm only facing or if others have encountered it to?)

4. <Forge>
In my opinion forge was fine but I would like to see an improvement in the amount of "objects" one can choose from and the abillity to clip objects togther. Please dont add the abillity to change the actually geogaphy of maps!

5. <Story>
ASSUMING Halo: Reach will be a prequal there shouldn't be any added covenant to story and brutes were not apart of the covenant whilst the battle of reach.

Actually, Brutes were on Harvest (almost thirty years before Halo 1). For all we know, they could be in Reach.

1- Balance is an easy fix. but i think the bigger issue is the rolls of some the weapons. the AR is a BB gun/Baseball bat hybrid and the BR is an assault rifle. and the weapons just need to be funner to use. they all looked, sounded, and felt like toys.

4- a delete all and undo button would be nice

5- i doesn't involve the MC saving the universe again so that a plus

for forge we should have the ability to melt objects to a wall or have unsc wepon holders like weapon racks, sandbags,warthogs that dont drive but the turrets operational, actual lights ( not the crap blue and red ones from ho3 actual lights that everyone uses everyday at home) , lots of new vehicle that are driveable like the longsword, phantom, pelican, and maybe even a scarab

1. No, just no. To start, dual wielding is for fun, and most players don't take advantage of it.
Make the weapons more powerful? The a player with an SMG can take out one with an AR in a one on one fight, and alone is a powerful weapon. The Spiker is a hand gun, and does fine. Nothing there needs to be improved.
Do not add range to the shotgun. It's range is the largest of any Halo game (if I remember right).
The Splaser bit I agree with. Unless it's a custom/community map, the splaser should only get a few shots.

2. I doubt Bungie has the means to set up a dedicated server system. They are a major developer, but games that have dedicated servers are supported by massive game companies (Epic Games, for example).
A better solution is get a better connection.

3. 100% agree. Campaign vids need a rewind and "record clip" button.

5. Well, it's been covered in earlier posts, but the Brutes were around since before the War. Read the books or check out Halo Wars.

Its a trap!!!

well i dont agree that its unbalanced but my biggest melee issue is the lunge. A melee shouldnt lunge a sword does but not regular melee. I like that some many times I think I have the distance to outshoot someone and they dash at me and punch me in the face

I do like the stronger melee when dealing with the overshield.

How about making the overshield more like the MLG version

no invinciblity in the first 5 seconds of picking it up

also its anoying if the person with overshield is in invincible state you cant shoot them out of scope wich is even more unfair

the whole scope thing is unintentional. Since damage is required to knock a scope off but bungie should of thought of this while designing the overshield
