I love ALL the Halo titles there is today. But there is one thing i believe Halo is missing. Give the game a reason to hold the rating "M is for Mature","Includes strong language, violence, and blood and gore" There is no Gore in the games. Only cartoon blood. I love popping Little Grunt heads, but i want to see them explode off sometimes too. Halo is about a great war between a Alien Race and Humans. You mean to tell me that during this whole war that the most gruesome things that happened was that shields flickered, bullets impacted and all the humans died from plasma sun burns. I'm sorry but if i was stuck by a grenade, you'd think a little part of me would end up splattered across a wall or one of my arms would dismember and fly through the air to come crashing down in satisfying bloody splat. I believe that if you increase the gore, you increase the fan base and the realism of the game and it will actually put realism to the story instead of it seeming like a bad cartoon. I'd like to hear everybody's opinions. Please let me hear you thoughts.

Alot of gaming groups think that Halo is more of a T title then an M.

I think abit more blood would be cool. Nothing major tho.

But I like picking daisy's!!!

Any way, blood does nothing for a game, it just slows down the frame rate. Why do you think that there hasn't been blood in Halo games before. Well, at least propper blood.

just because you don't get pleasure from watching people's guts and organs fly and getting spread over walls doesn't mean you like to pick daises, it just means you're normal. but maybe you should play a more violent game if that's what you want

Well, you have a point there. I just think making it more real would better the story and the "AWW" of the game. Picking Daisy's ain't bad though. At Least you don't plant Tulip's.

I don't really want gore, but more realistic not cartoon blood.

I DO NOT want it to be over the top in any shape or form.

It should be like real life in a war in terms of goreness.

Halo doesn't need to be more violent. The fact that Halo uses minimum blood, gore, and language, is one of the things that sets it apart from other shooters. It helps keep the game unique. If you want blood and gore, play GoW or L4D.

That argument doesn't really work there, I didn't consider halo 1+2 cartoony at all, & whats wrong with wanting a more serious game? Halo has a terrific story & Reach was a massive battle, why have it in a cartoon?

Halo has never been all that gory. It has never been like Fallout 3, where peoples heads are flying everywhere, along with intestines, eyes, brains, and other body parts. The goriest thing it has is the Flood, and that isn't really gory at all.

Edit: I never said anything about Halo being cartoony.
