In the history of Halo, there was but only a single campaign to play on. In addition, the campaign was either not long enough or too short. That is why I propose that "Halo Reach" have multiple campaigns, each at least 7 missions long. The longer the campaign, the more epic the feeling you'll get upon completion. Also, it will make the game itself more memorable. Here are some examples of campaign ideas based upon Halo canon:
Spartan Campaign
The Spartan Campaign will be the longest campaign. That is because Red Team, led by Frederic-104, along with Charlie Company, a Marine unit, was split in order to help win the ground battle of Reach.
Team Aplha
Team Alpha was composed of Frederic-104, Kelly-087, and Joshua-029 and was tasked to eliminate an encampment of 10,000 Covenant and their hovering cruiser (without doing anything that could damage the Orbital Defense Generators).
Team Beta
Team Beta was composed of the majority of the Spartan-IIs. They were tasked with the defense of the Orbital Defense Platform generators against Covenant attack on Reach.
Team Gamma
Team Gamma was composed of Li-008, Anton-044, and Grace-093 and they were ordered to retrieve Vice Admiral Danforth Whitcomb.
Team Delta
Team Delta was composed of the Charlie Company Marines and Spartans William-043, Isaac-039, and Vinh-030. They were ordered to secure the Spartans' fallback point at CASTLE Base.
I'm hoping Bungie would allow us to decide which Spartan we get to play as.
Marine Campaign
This campaign will be based upon Charlie Company. It will be challenging because they possess no shields or superhuman strength. Basically, they're like the ODSTs of H3ODST. Before Charlie Company met up with Red Team, they were ordered by Whitcomb to retrieve the Nova Bombs, weapons so powerful that they could turn the tides in space battles and had enough explosive energy to destroy whole planets. However, they were bombed by their own air power because the officers feared that the Covenant were getting too close. Afterwards, they had to repel the remaining Covenant.
The Gamma Campaign
Captain Jacob Keyes sent John-117, Spartan-James, and Linda-058 to Reach Station Gamma after hearing that the AI Doppler, controller of Reach Station Gamma, was unable to destroy the vital information onboard the UNSC Circumference, an ONI prowler involved in Operation: HYPODERMIC. This will be the last official campaign of the game.
The Arbiter Campaign (Bonus)
Upon completion of the other campaigns, you'll get to play as the Arbiter fighting against Marines, ODSTs, and Spartans. Although he was vaguely mentioned in the Battle of Reach, he might've played a major( or enjoyable) role in the conflict.
If Bungie were to consider this idea, then it may benefit all of us. Us Halo Players will get to enjoy a long, memorable campaign and Bungie can make a profit out of our enjoyment.
What do you think? If you do not like the campaign ideas listed above, then please contribute your own. If you agree with them, then please elaborate.
