If you have nt played ODST, it is thr thing MC falls in at the beginning of the game.
Replace MC with The Rookie and your right.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Halo 3? I think you mean Halo 2. Well i hope in Reach we have a mission where you get reinforments, and they say you got something special, then Orbital Drop Shock Troopers hit ground around you and start fighting with you...that would..be awsome

Play siera 117 on H3 and look at the pod...
I did not know that Forerunner ships came equipped with ODST drop pods.

It starts in a Forerunner ship????!????
At the end of Halo 2 Master Chief follows the Prophet Truth back to earth by stowing away in Truths Forerunner ship. What you see at the beginning of Halo 3 is Chief jumping out of the ship in some kind of drop pod.
Edit: which is weird because he is laying in the grass in the cutscene. don't really know what the pod was for if he wasnt in it.

Get ruled.

Piloting them to the ground would be epic.

CrimsonPandaStudios

Its not a pod. Its i piece of the forruner ship. Master Chief used it to steer his course. Or something like that. The piece would also give him protection from the heat
