how does the halo: ce engine compare in terms of power and gameplay to halo 3 engine like say I took halo custom edition and loaded in like halo 3 textures/models or I made my own high quality models would this cause the engine to lag or would it just be halo: ce gameplay ie no dual wielding no equipment but with like state of the art models?

EDIT: Also how does the halo: CE editing kit compare to halo 2 vista editing kit?

Play CMT SPV2 Beta, thats amazing modding, with a Halo 3 style, It's the best I've seen. You can download CMT SPV2 at Halomaps.com

Depending on your machine, CMT SPV2 might lag for you.
Dual Weilding is possible, but not used very much.
Equipment is possible, but hasn't been perfected.
I have heard that Halo 2 Vista's editing kit is worse than CE's.
The only problem with HALO CE editing kit is that once you download it,you only have three of the programs needed, sapien, gurilla, and tool. You will need a few more before you are ready.
Overall, I perfer Halo CE butyou can choose what you want.

oh, and I heard this in some tuts for Halo CE
"Theoretically, everything possible in Halo 2 and 3, is also possible in Halo CE, but it can't be perfected."

Good luck.

It's fine, although I've seen people being banned for pretty daft reasons on this board.

While in the right hands I'm sure the Halo CE engine could still be used to great effect, I doubt you'd ever get it looking as good as Halo 3.

No amount of textures and models could achieve the same look without making engine changes. I wouldn't be surprised if it was possible to get it pretty close, again, if it was in the right hands.
