I don't know if this has been mentioned, but whatever...

I don't think they should put any online achievements that would force people to change their gameplay. Take Halo 3 for example, too many times will players hog up the Ghost/shotty/sword and completely neglect any objective or not help a teammate in need, simply because they refuse to change weapons until they get their achievement. To put it simply, it makes people act "stupid" when they play.

The only online achievements should be ones that encourage smart gameplay, such as getting Double/Triple kills (and others like that). Also, progressive achievements would be fine, like reaching a lifetime kill count of 1,000 or more.

Note: I am only referring to online, matchmaking achievements.

No signature found. Click here to change this.

Most of the original Halo 3 achievements only had you modify your gameplay in a lonewolves game when it came to deploying specific tactics. The change from lone wolves to everything came with the new batch of Achievements from TU2.

Either way, I would love to have more of the Campaign and Multiplayer achievements that the first batch had.

Never been a fan of online achievements since I never seem to be able to get them, even when I try. But whatever, it doesn't bother me. Achievements are so 2005.

Well it would suck if you were randomly put in with those people but if you and your teamates are fine with it its good

Especially considering these achievments don't have to be earned in ranked. If they are trying for this in social then its their choice on how they spend their fun

The achievements that are more fun (to me) are the challenging ones that takes some skill and effort to get, not the ones that make me sit in a corner with a shotty, waiting for people to walk by. Although, the Splatter Spree one did get my heart pumping for the Legendary maps, but that was only because I got it in the last ten seconds of the game.

I prefer more achievements that can be earned offline or online. Take for example L4D, there is an achievement to kill the witch in 1 headshot, that is a real achievement. I think there has to be a kill achievement.

Kill 10000 covenant or something.
