I'd love to see some perks similiar to Call Of Duty 4. It would definetely bring more of a strategic feel to the game, more realistic in my opinion but with the same feel as Halo 3.

List what perks you would like to see here:

Example:
- Radar Jammer
- Additional Armor

it doese'nt look nextgen , looks good but not nextgen
If by next-gen you mean crappy, dark and colorless, I agree. It doesnt look next-gen at all.

I would not like to see any perks in the game.

not similar to call of duty. something bungie could create new to the perk world not just do something "similar" to call of duty but rather something "new"

technically we already have some kind of perks in halo 3. Over-shield. Invisibility. just expand on these 1 minute perks and it will be fine.

im one second from taking this to the next level.

- Night Vision
- Increased Shield Recharge Rate
- Double Laser Capacity (REALLY high tier)
- Boren's Syndrome (plasma is 10% less effective against you and there's a 3% chance a sticky won't stick to you when thrown)

I'm the cult of personality,
I call it like i see it, if i feel the need to be blunt and to the point, then i will, if i feel the need to be very detailed, i will, im here to stay and im here to do things my way, if you respect that or not is your choice, not mine,
and don't worry, while i don't agree with everyone's opinion, i do respect everyone's opinion.

how many times must i say this [THIS IS HALO NOT COD]

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed, knowing better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives: not men, for flags.
"The Next War"

I would be slightly irritated if Bungie implemented perks into Reach.

Maybe permanent equipment? As in you pick a radar jammer or some such tomfoolery, but it falls off your body when you die, like weapons or grenades.

That is what they will probably have on the game.

I think these are pretty good ideas.

My guess is that Halo Reach will have perks, just seems more tactical.

Personally, I think an actual "skilled" person in Halo 3 is someone who knows how to win with every weapon and combo in the game, not just a single weapon like the BR, Sniper, or even the AR. Of course, that excludes me, as I have yet to get a kill with dual plasma pistols. :D

Only if they're things you pick up on the maps [like equipment], or if they're all available for each player from the start.

Also, they should have a different name, just so CoD and its playerbase don't play the LAWL PLAGIARISM card on Bungie.

No, perks are for different games.

Increased shield recharge would be a great perk.

NO, no perks. Keep the bubble shield, regeneration, radar jammer etc. as in Halo 3. That's enough. And Shield recharge rate can me customized in custom games. I think that it's enough. This is not COD as mentioned earlier.

For those of you saying "This is NOT COD" we get it, whatever.

As for the idea, I wouldn't mind any. simple stuff though, like faster running speed or increased melee damage.

*SPOILER* I'm afraid there sort of is, but there more like bubble sheilds or regenerators in tht you can pick them up, so not really. they sound quite cool, I would tell you what they were but I'd feel bad to bungie, I didn't even mean to find out about them in the first place lol
