After playing "Halo Wars", I grew in love with one of the UNSC's most powerful vehicle: the Vulture. It is an uber-unit of the game. It is very resilient and packs alot of firepower.

According to the "Halo Wars" official site: "The Vulture is one of the UNSC's most powerful units. Basically a highly armed flying assault tank packed to the brim with weapons. The UNSC Vulture is the largest aircraft fielded by the UNSC. It is designed to deliver massive damage to enemy ground troops after air superiority has been achieved. It is slow moving but carries an impressive armament of two twin-autocannons and rocket silos that can be used to deliver a devastating barrage to enemies in a wide area.
Crewed by highly trained UNSC pilot and gunners, the Vulture is an expensive unit and is usually reserved for difficult or lengthy battles. Being slow, it is vulnerable to anti-aircraft fire and enemy aircraft, but it is surprisingly resilient."

Just think about it. Would you like to pilot a vehicle as powerful as this in "Halo Reach"?

It's much to large to pilot by yourself, but a 5 man team stationed in different positions (pilot, gunner, secondary gunner, navigator, etc.) would be truely amazing.

Is that an agreement or disagreement?

Hot freaking damn, I want one of those. Especially when Ive always wanted to feel like a spartan pilot or so (Ive always been pretty damn good at driving vehicles of games like halo or red faction guerilla but ironically not on actual racing games.. o_0)

Non Nobis Nascimur - We are not born for ourselves.

You can't pilot them. You need a crew of six to fly one, plus those things are so freaking huge. They would take up the better part of the map.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

To be honest, I would prefer a Grizzly but a Vulture would be hella fun too.

Huge, but not uber sized mind you. Should be about the same size as the Elephants on Sandtrap, if not, a little longer.

Much larger than an Elephant. A Vulture is about the length of a Scarab.

The Scarabs in-game are smaller than the ones in Halo 2 and Halo 3. Compare a Grunt Squad next to them.

Exactly, which would then make a Vulture larger due to the smaller proportions of all Halo Wars units, correct?

Have you have parked a Grizzly next to a car on The Docks? Holy crap...

If anything, it makes it smaller. I wonder if Halopedia has any stats...

Warning: You may find that my, or someone else's opinion does not comply with yours. Side effects of disagreement may include (but are not limited to): flaming, irrational behavior, broken keyboards, and/or nervous sweats. If you experience any of these symptoms refrain from communicating with others until the symptoms have subsided.

It would make for a great Campaign mission. It would be a unique Co-op experience if each person had a different obligation to pilot the unit. I don't think that it would work very well with multiplayer though, could be cool.

I'm sure they do. I'm just saying the Vulture would have to be very large. It has a crew of six. It is pretty damn slow and has a decent amount of armor.
