@ShiningWolf Hows your graphics card?

Every time you sneeze into an open Febreze portal the boner-tree drive shaft will spin into ketchup. But it doesn't stop at the number two pizza bell, not even close. It continues into the seventy eight minute long pile of green, sobbing cheese trains with no more butter, but more like the steak owed the tin cans some lovin'.

I didn't think it would make much of a difference, but I'm trying to make sure the graphics aren't the problem.

I'm thinking I just need to upgrade my RAM from 1GB to 4GBs, assuming my motherboard can handle 4 Gigs. Damn game gets choppy as hell when I see other players.
If your computer is having a problem with graphics, the first thing to check would be your graphics card. It has it's own processor and RAM that are dedicated to rendering graphics. If you want to play games, you need to make sure you have a good one.

It doesn't matter how well a game looks, if you can't stand to play it, you won't.

And I'm sure Bungie is aware.

A real test of a man is if he is willing to scrape a sharpened razor up and down his junk just to please a woman.

My video card is actually pretty good; I don't think it's the problem.

The problems is that loading times are killer, and that all my PC games get choppy when there are a few players or enemies on my screen. I'm assuming it's the RAM since when I'm playing offline, all I have to complain about is the loading times and the occasional crash at the loading screen.

it depends, if the graphics are too bad, no, i dont care if it looks a bit worse than halo 3, just not as bad as mag or something. and i lag for each game, especially gow, i hate that game, and when it lags in cod, the game ends, that sucks too

Having an open NAT doesn't affect lag it just affects who you can play with.

Oh My God... He's got a gun!

since when do local textures have anything to do with sending packets across the internet?...

If the game runs on 30fps, you won't experience lag unless there is something wrong with your internet connection. Don't blame graphics for your retarded connection. They don't have ANYTHING to do with eachother. I don't care how long it takes for a frame to render, a packet will be sent no matter what.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

I can assure you it has nothing to do with the graphics, my friend.
