Let me start by saying that I'm not necessarily a huge Call of Duty fan. I've played all of them on the 360 except for WAW, but while I like the game, I am NOT a huge fan of the game.
Anyway, at least as of now or whatever build it was in, there were perks (more so powers- not more damage, etc. but manual camo, etc.)and Credits (perhaps buying unlockables?).
So yea, what do you think?
I sort of like the idea, but it has to be handled with extreme care.
The way I see it, these Spartan abilities are essentially just a better, and obviously potentially more fun, replacement to equipment (those aren't returning- i think we know that- didn't add much to halo 3- this is a better way of doing it).
So again, as long as it remains as these new abilities and not as more damage, more health, etc., I think it could work out for the best.
As for the Credits, this could go either way. I want to be able to pick up weapons on the battlefield and I definately do not want to have to level up to access the rockets, etc., but I'm rather apathetic towards being able to pick with what you ttart with. I dunno, it could work either way. Obviously the Spartan Laser isn't going to be a spawnable weapon either way, but still, I dunno, I'm both ways.
--> chances are, for MLGs sake though, they'll have the option to spawn with a default.
So yea, I think i do like these ideas, but still, balance has to be maintained. I really want Halo Reach to be quite different while at the same time maintaining to be Halo.
Also--- the Halo 1 health system is back, updated halo 3/odst style (on the top- shield on top, health segments below that). I dunno about this. I remember this creating long standoffs in Halo 1 and searching for health packs isn't fun. I dunno, campaign will be fine, but I'll have to see it in action before I consent to this guy.
