Subject: HR: Map Wishes, Dreams and Demands.

I want to hear some people's ideads of what types of maps they would want to be in the game. Remakes, New Maps, Fusioned maps, anything share your personal ideas and thought's here!

My Idea's

Ascendant Of Justice
This is the Covenant flagship that MC captured from enemy hands in First Strike Right after the fight on Halo. It's where the Chief gotta better relationship with Cortana and Seargant Johnson. I would like it to be like Truth and Reconsiliation from Halo CE with an Construct kind of feel. A well balanced map. With the crashed Pelican and all. If you pay attention to map detail in Construct's background you can see Senteniel's flying through the sky. I would like it to be similar execpt with floating Engineers since in the book the ship was filled with them.

Hang Em High remake

Replace Forerunner style with stone. Add greenery, plants, vines, moss

The middle of the map that had the healthpack should have water flowing through it. Make a small waterfal somewhere so the water can be flowing into it like a stream and the other side will just have a hole for the water to keep going

Make those small collums that people use for cover forgeable at the very least

Although I hope forge gets better then the current and we will have more options

The map would look awesome in moonlight. So no ceiling for the level

ones in the trees with alot of ways to fall off the other ones ground based

That would be great I didn't really like the desert feel in Halo 2 either. Also the Forge idea is golden.

I would like to see some Swamp and Forest maps, with lot of fog so that the visibility would be low. Also more water maps!

Also more background sound effects would be cool.

I am not to keen on fog. Maybe forgeable fog. It would make some infection games more intense

I do want some more water themed maps.

It would be intense for shotty snipe games. And I like the human to covenant ship idea. Like they were in a space battle and the humans resorted to ramming speed and there was electric shorts every where some fire and you can see outer space between the 2 ships

except the funny thing the human and coveship would have simular areas and both have teleports to each other...oh well thats just fun gameplay =)

You could say the invaders originally placed teleports on each side. Although mancannons, aircrafts and energybridges could make more sense

I just really liked the Truth and Reconsiliation hangar and a human version of it could be amazing as well. Perfect Humans VS Covies map and Boarding Action remake. Even driveable dropships could work: Pelican and Spirit/Phantom are the best way to get the whole team into enemy base at once, if the doors aren't closed

all I want is:

A map with lots of bridges crossing each other, like blackout except 90% bridges and very few rooms.

A HUGE sandbox-type map with good aesthetics and lots more customization.

It's funny how Bungie left out the most promising and atmospheric level there was. A level based on Guardian (well, the other way around actually).
If you look at Guardian, it has the perfect atmosphere.

I would like to have a multiplayer map in Reach like the design of the Library level in HALO: CE
with the giant hole in the middle.
I remember i found a way to get into that without dying.

That sounds like it would be Hang Em High with the ascetics of Guardian, which is actually a pretty cool idea.

Gaurdian a good idea but I was thinking of a slight cold feel to it. Like the color of everything could resemble the original map. Except it looks more like stone and the moonlight will add to the effect

So it would have slight blue shade to it still

but I also want it to have some finess as well. The blackout like moon can reflect into the warterfall and the waterfall can be a crystal sparkly color

So to sum it up a cool moonlit swamp with a crystal clear waterfall

Since you brought up gaurdian I had a great idea. over the walls of the map you see the gaurdian trees stretch out to the sky where you see the moon somewhere almost directly above the map
