Listen.. I just typed up a 5000 word post, accidentally clicked something and lost the whole shabang, so im going to have to sum it up again (MOTHER FU..ER!)
Please note that any of my great humor is not in this remake.

Basically, WHAT i say is that this trailer was made for the common person, to market to them. The common folk does not know what Marathon is, so I dont think the ilovebees.com site has anything to do with that.

Uh so on and so forth god dammit i miss my old post...

Now, anyways....
Here are the official theories so far on all this crap.......

THE BS THEORY
What is it: This is a big hoax
Pros: None
Cons: If its a hoax why would bungie and microsoft put it in their trailer
Possibility: .0000001%

THE OXM THEORY
What is it: The different dates on the timer are related to a release of a magazine..
Pros: The dates and times fit perfectly (Oxm sent home to subscribers the 15th and to stores on the 24th)
Cons: Bungie would not waste their time making this whole thing for a freaking magazin. Get real.
Possibility: 24%

THE MARATHON THEORY
What is it: The site is related to a new Marathon game
Pros: I have no clue
Cons: Heres the thing, no one knows about that game except the nerds on this site, the common folk would not care about this
The site was shown at a Halo 2 trailer, so tell me this, why the hell would it be related to marathon!!!!?!?!?!?
Possibility: 2%

THE MEDIA THEORY
What is it: A bunch of info/ screenshots will be released soon
Pros: Seems possible
Cons: With the magnitude of this site and game, just doesnt seem right....
Possibility: 60%

THE DEMO THEORY
What is it: A demo will be released on August 24
Pros: SPDR may stand for Single Player Demo Release
Cons: Hard to produce demo Cds...still seems very possible
Possibility: 80%

THE RELEASE THEORY
What is it: The game's release is being pushed fowards to August 24
Pros: A game is finished when it is given and ESRB rating. Halo 2 has been rated M.
Bungie has not denied the rumors of this.
Cons: Far fetched
Possibility: 46%

So there are the theories...make more if you want to. And argue with me too. Ill eat you up.

Good, although I believe the possibility of it being a demo and the chances that it will actually release on August 24th are the same.

I thought there is 50% chance of halo 2 comming out and 10% was me just wishing.

i realy dont ESRB rating is not that important they dont need all that much to rate a game.

but i could be wroung. so could all the rest of the world

80%?!?!?!?!? are you serious? man you are gonna be one of the people I laugh at august 24th, and a 46% chance on the game release? everything is about a 0% or negative except for the "info and screenshots" or the OXM theory.

There is only one problem with your little post.

80% for a demo? Someone has their hopes up. I can not stress the point enough that games as good as Halo don't have demo's before release. Its for games that don't have any hype... and Halo2 has almost too much Hype. I would say posibility of a demo.

In my opinion, your percentages are all way too high. On August 24, something is going to happen that none of us are ever going to predict because we weren't supposed to know. You might as well be looking for a needle in a haystack, with the barn being the size of a football field, on fire. Good luck.

I applaud you on this post, seems that you've got some good info on your opinions. I just have one problem, and it's not your's it's the SPDR, why would bungie want to make a single player demo when it could ruin the story, i think more people would like a MP demo because truly, don't we all play Halo 1 because of MP?

ide say its a much bigger possibility. A demo is a big deal to most of us, and a much bigger deal than a bunch of screenshots.

Stop flaming him, and all other people that believe in the early release, alright? You don't know ANY better than anyone else about this I Love Bees thing. Just because it isn't likely doesn't mean you have to yell at people for believing something that does have a well amount of evidence going for it. I'm sick of everyone arguing about this, no one person knows ANYTHING more than the next, so just stop acting like you do.

There's no way that the game will be released before November 9th. 0% possibility. Here's why---
---Bungie's still finishing the game up, and there is no time to produce enough copies in time for Aug 24th
---It would make no sense from a buisness or advertising point of view. Microsoft is not made up of a bunch of children, they know what their doing. November 9th is a solid holiday release that will crush any of Sony's Christmas plans. Microsoft and Bungie aren't stupid enough to set a solid release date for the world and then just say "ahhh....screw it."

Even the single player demo seems a bit unconventional. Even though it makes sense with the abbreviations, it does not make sense financially. Why spend thousands making demo disks for a game that already has enough hype to push it through the next ten years? Still, it is possible......

Here's the most likely senario in my mind. Still just specualtion---
---One of the online tests is done in one day
---Production on either the actual Halo2 disk or a beta disk begin in 15 days
---Mass advertising, Beta, Halo2 demo, or the invasion of the Covenant begins on Aug 24. (sometime in the morning)

At any length I think it's a conspiricy with Asprin to get us to by more headache meds. I think I've had about 14 migraines in the past day alone...
