Wherever you roam
so far from home
you'll be safe from peril
life threatening and terrible
if you avoid David Powel
and keep track of your towel.

Do you even know what "milked" is?

Any old-school gamer knows that the Mario series has pretty much stayed good since the beginning.

Except for all those crappy Mario games that arbitrarily don't count right? Now I like the main Mario series and a few of the spin-off but there are a lot of terrible Mario products. I would say that Halo at least has been consistently decent.

Enough with the messages,
I don't want to join your stupid groups.

We have a serious issue on are hands. Halo is now being milked, and i dont like it. I was walking in the store today(walmart) and i see a -blam!- Halo megablox tank. What the -blam!- is this!! Halo is not StarWars. Im sorry guys but this has to stop. If Halo continues after Reach im going to be mad. What do you guys think? I love Halo, but i want to see it end with a bang, not continue on until no one can look at it without throwing up. I want it to be seen as a legendary game.

Boo hoo, you'll be upset.
No one cares. If a series is being milked, so be it. At least Halo has been somewhat consistent with its quality.
Sure, they may have halo action figures and an anime of it,
but Bungie doesn't own the Halo franchise, Microsoft does. If there's DLC for Halo, Microsoft sets the price; if they are offered a contract for action figures, Microsoft decides whether to say yes, or no. Bungie doesn't control everything that is Halo, so stop blaming everything on them.

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

It is seen as a legendary game, and I want it to get better. The Megablocks things is a little over the top, but that's one instance. Look at Halo Legends and Waypoint. Two ideas from 343 Industries that have really taken well to the community (as far as I can tell). From what I've heard and seen, Halo is in good hands in the future.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

It's not Bungie's doing. They don't own the IP.

"Welcome to the Greatest Show Unearthed"

I don't think Microsoft can hear you, they're too busy rolling around in money

  • 11.07.2009 2:34 PM PDT

They're not milking anything until they
1). Stop making products of quality
or
2). Stop making Halo games carry relevance to the Haloverse.

Come Here for my Halo 3 Stats and Fileshare:

Mario has been around for almost 30 years now, and even with all the pointless party/sports titles, it still keeps solid.

If Mario can stay being un-milked for that long, I'm sure Halo can do the same.

(Just think about it: at least Halo isn't Guitar Hero.)

I just wasted a few seconds of your life and you're never getting them back!

I dont really give a -blam!- if Halo is being "milked" as you say it. As long as kick-ass Halo games keep coming, I'm happy.

  • 11.07.2009 2:50 PM PDT

Listen, in all respects halo is our Star Wars, and why not? Star Wars is still kicking and has the same influence since 1977.

How am I an idiot? All im saying is that i dont want Halo to be milked and im scared for it in the future. 20 years from now do you want to look back and see Halo as a megablox toy?

I guess you didn't hear...

Your world will burn until it surfaces but glass!!!!!!!!!-Prophet

Update: I just watched the first episode of Halo Legends and it actually wasent that bad but the girl spartan was hot why did she have to die!?!?

  • 11.07.2009 3:41 PM PDT

There are those who said this day would never come. What have they to say now?

Then in your own mind... let Reach be the end of the Halo:Franchise. I say this too my friends, "Reach is the last Halo game by Bungie". And, honestly i'm glad i'm saying it, beacuse all good things come to an end.

It's life.

We all know who made Halo. It was Bungie, and no-one will be able to carry it on,not any other group of developers brought in by Microsoft, not some Japanese Anime Company. No-one.

So when Bungie say "this is our last Halo game". Then its the end of Halo.
