Why should you be given a chance to defend yourself when you screwed up when performing a risky action like splattering?
Exactly. You already have so many advantages in a vehicle, if you get boarded you've screwed up and the other player deserves to get your ride. You either failed at shooting or splattering, or you went into an area you shouldn't have without enough caution. As it stands, vehicles are pretty dominant on some maps, and if you take away effective boarding, the game would suck.
However, I find that getting stickied can often times be more of a luck based or not as skilled action. Run straight at the person, and if you're going to die, throw a random sticky and hope for a stick. Or throw random stickies and nail someone. I wouldn't mind a way to get out of stickies, say by pressing a random button within a certain window (if "A" pops up on the screen, press that, but you never know what button will pop up). You could also do one based more on rapid movements of a stick or buttons, only allow a release of the sticky if the player who threw it on you has died, etc. I'm not saying this is something I think should be added, just that it makes more sense to me than anti-boarding.
