y'know, i had a very similar idea. i was thinking that certian peices of armor should have thier own perks associated with them:
odst helmet- visr mode
scout, recon, hyabusa sets- cloaking
cqb, security shoulders- increased bulet resistance, slict chance of bullet reflection
cqb, katans bodies- melle becomes weapon on ody (cqb=knife katana=...a turkey, XD)
andd so on

That would be an interesting idea, however unless it is balanced perfectly then people would just design their armor to be as overpowered as possible. Instead of seeing a wide variety of armors in matchmaking because everyone has there own definition of what looks cool, we would see most everyone wearing the same armor.

But everyone has there own fighting styles so people would most likley go with armor sets that help them with there fighting style.

I say they take away aim assist and only have ti as a perk... :)

My friends and I used to play games where you get a point for team killing, then we all joined the same team and played team slayer (thus making auto-aim disappear.) We all got pretty good at it, and I know that it's possible to have Halo without aim assist (I mean, look at HPC.

I know a kid who uses a nonxbox controller (so no aim assist) and he plays with the pros.

Aim assist isn't needed, and it'd fix the problem [good] people have with it being too strong (you scroll over to them with the br, then kind of smooth the aim in the direction they're going, letting aim assist do all the work - how pro are you?! /sarcasm.)

Oh, and I might actually have some respect for the pros of a console game for once (because they'd actually have skill) :)

The Invisibility one definitely seems pretty awesome. Not gonna get into details since its probably still in bannable territory but it sounds like its been balanced pretty significantly that out of the 3 we know so far, if any of these thingies make it into Multiplayer, that will be perfect.

Its a trap!!!

It better not be in the game, its pretty much an exact rip-off of COD, And if its in the game, I won't feel the same way about Bungie ever again.

I second that

If bungie could somehow make 3 games every three years and make them as awesome as they can make one currently then I would be all for a class based halo being 1 of the 3 games

But that is my ficticous make believe land and my favorite games are the regular halo style.

I rather actually go and pick things up on the map. It adds more strategy and makes everything fair.

I may not mind this idea for campaign but definetly not multi

as for the person saying a perk that you dont have to unscope very very very broken. Do you know how bad any one with half a brain could dominate with the sniper. It would destroy the balance of the game greatly
