I've been playing Halo since 2002. My earliest memories include hiding at the shotgun window on Damnation and killing my dad with grenades while playing co-op on Pillar of Autumn.
Like, the ending of Halo Reach would have you, much like halo CE and Halo 3's endings, running for your life in a 'hog or some other vehicle to get to the Pillar of Autumn, whilst the planet is being glassed immediately behind you.
It would feel awesome and intense, as looking back you'd see a giant covenant ship with it's laser destroying everything behind you, and stopping even for a moment would result in death.
And after the level you see Captain Keyes fly the ship away, towards a ring-shaped planet, and as the master Chief is awakened from his short sleep, the game fades into the credits.
What are your guys's thoughts?
