Um... I like Halo? I don't really know what to say. I'm a student at the moment, I hope to become a criminal profiler, and I enjoy pretty much everything as long as it's good.

Of seeing Reach info this year. Here you go.

Mike Lowery: [singing] Bad boys, bad boys what ya gonna do? What ya gonna do when we come for you?
[Marcus starts ad-libbing the first verse]
Mike Lowery: Dude, you gotta learn the words.
Marcus Burnett: We usually only do the chorus

that article is from july.

Please use your head.

Fact 1: To enter the Reach Beta, you need to own ODST.
Fact 2: People are more likely to buy things they don't need during the Holidays.

Therefore, to sell as many copies of ODST as possible, Bungie and Microsoft will want to begin revealing information about the multiplayer beta by late November or early December to boost ODST's sales for the holiday season. It's basic economics. Its what they did with Halo 3 as well. If they wait till January to reveal it, they aren't going to sell nearly as many copies of ODST as they would have.

There is nothing wrong with Halo:Reach. We all just have our gripes about everything we don't like. Not liking something doesn't make it broken.

Quoted for the greater justice.

I'm starting to form a great respect for you Hylebos. You win at the internet.

We'll see. We'll see.

Were it so easy.

Yeah, ODST already came out and has been out. They can get more sales if they announce Reach info and advertise the beta with ODST.

Really? How do you know? Did you get some secret message from Bungie with the tidbit of info no one else has heard?

Show some proof that they are done or shut up and GTFO.

Even if they have no further plans, they are likely to keep trying to get people to buy it. Extra sales can't hurt and its the only way to get the Beta for Reach.

poop

"Basically, if you're a Halo fan and hope to see any new information on Reach, just stop it. Be thankful you'll getting two separate games based-off the Halo Universe, within a year span. Halo: Reach is due out fall of 2010."

The Beta comes out in spring, no? Therefore the logical thing for Bungie to do is to release info in the 2-3 month range before the Beta. Which would be anywhere from January up until the end of spring. Perhaps things will be revealed in mid to late December in order to capitalize on the holiday sales season but I highly doubt they will reveal a great deal about the game until, as stated before, 2-3 months before the beta.

Well of course they won't reveal everything. I don't expect to see detailed tours of the maps, extra features in the beta (theatre? forge? render video support on Bungie.net?), or detailed pages of information about each weapon until we get closer to the beta, but all that is needed to hype the beta in December is to reveal the major gameplay changes from Halo 3 to Halo Reach and some pictures or videos clips of gameplay on the beta maps.
