Subject: in the picture up above, is that a spartan on the left, or a marine?

when ever a load up the forums list, there is a picture at the top of screen where there are silouettes of a people. one guy with a sniper is on the far right(crouched), and a guy in the middle with a BR or AR(I cant tell), and on the far left, there is a tall guy with what it looks to me like spartan armor. is the guy on the left a spartan? is it master chief?
appriciate it if you reply, thanks.

A real test of a man is if he is willing to scrape a sharpened razor up and down his junk just to please a woman.

Unless the guy on the far left is the tallest non Spartan human alive, I think he's a Spartan.

how do u know?

Joe Staten confirmed that you are playing as a spartan in a squad of five spartans.

Are they seriously going to put five secondary characters over primary characters into an image that is supposed to represent the game?

I don't think the one second from the left (looks like Buck, note the hair) or the one on the far right (looks like an ODST) are Spartans.

I would also like to say that from these silhouettes that the Mjolnr armor that the Spartans are wearing looks like the Brotherhood of Steel armor from Fallout

Not neccesarily. The game isn't going to focus on any spartans that we already know about. That would be boring, because of the books we would know which ones live, which ones die, the game would be a checklist of events from the book.

It would be much more interesting if the game had the point of view from five spartans who were not introduced by name in Fall of Reach and who's ultimate fates were not explored. That way Bungie can create an original game that stays true to the canon, has tension, and isn't a borefest for readers of the book.

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

That means "As soon as the Covies arrive, you know Reach is screwed".

Thats my take on it anyway.

I used to get on these forums back in the Halo 1, anticipating Halo 2 days...I'm back :)

Is this a serious thread? It's a really tall marine who towers over the Spartans....yeah, that's plausible...
