Good day. I'm an active and fairly enthusiastic member of the Bungie fan-base and pride myself on many qualities. If you want to send me a PM, go right ahead. No I won't spam your inbox with group invites, I will respond in the best way possible. Thank you, and as I had opened, I'll close - good day.

Possibly. I love customization, but I don't think it should be taken too far - like drawing yourself your own armor... it would help if you explained your idea a bit better.

Maybe in multi-player; I think they should make a setting to where Spartans are like half there original size, but your speed is increased some.

and choose odst or spartan or elite and each should have a "perk" like higher speed or something like that

Yes you should be able to change upper arms, lower arms, upper legs, lower legs, upper back, lower back, chest, mid section, cod piece, ass plate, visor, helmet, shoulder, hands, and feet.
Also be able to add camo, and color each individual armor option. The emblem should be able to be placed in certain spots such as left shoulder, right shoulder, chest, back, upper leg l/r.

ODST's wouldn't stand a chance against elites and spartans but i would totaly love moar armor variants, colours, and perks would be interesting............

They could develop a MatchMaking game for only ODST's.

i would love to be a spartan with gloves like an odst, camo lower arms and upper legs, Leather combat boots (LOL i know), eod chest, mk v helmet, halo wars styled shoulders and legs, a knife on my chest and a machete on my back, and MC belt from Halo CE with the pockets. And a diagonal red stripe across the chest plate (emblem).

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

I see no issue in having permutations for more more body parts, but it does not need to get out of hand. It is difficult to keep coming up with new armor types that make sense in the game, you will run out of looks at some point or another.

Damn you 353 guilty spark! You killed the greatest stereotypical african american gun toting sergeant ever to tread upon a fictional futuristic setting!

I am expecting there to be many more customization options. I don't see a reason why there wouldn't be. At this time in the Halo Universe there were a ton of spartans, so the ability to customize your own much more indepth within multiplayer should be an obvious adaption to this game.

Btw - polls on bungie.net mean absolutely nothing, so please don't use them to try and prove some kind of point.

no perks!!!
this is halo not CoD.....dont make it like CoD, although I like the customization ideas!!!

NO PERKS!!!!

  • 11.09.2009 4:20 PM PDT

thats way too much, all you need is some more armor permutations, maybe legs customization, and that emblem position you were saying, that's it, basically halo 3 customization with a little tweaks here and there maybe some more permutations

P.S. You misspelled xxxxx. If you don't like it, you don't have to play xxxxx. Further violations will likely result in a ban.

I would not want an RPG style customization, but...

I think it will include classes, such as heavy gunner, sniper, etc.

I would also like to see some kind of perk system possibly, or weapon choices that you are stuck with unless you find another.

IMO, Reach will take the best of COD and mix it with the best of Halo, making it just "the best."

Speaking of chuckles, let's all lol at IonicPaul, who makes friends with bugs to make up for his lack of human contact.

Classes: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

They're fine in Call of Duty, but it's part of why I play Halo. Gah.

internet sources which seem to be pretty accurate if you dig enough confirm that there is a "perk" style system but you can only use one at a time. These include invis, run * like clicking left stick in Cod, and halogram which makes a clone of you to confuse enemeies. Sure there are more but should be able to equip more than one at a time.

I have plenty of friends who say " i don't want more customization i want to change my guy quickly!" I'm all for customization as I've stated before. my compromise is simple, you go to armor and you have the exact same layout a Halo 3 then you toggle the advanced button and you get all the customization options that have been discussed here (not the perks, which I'm indifferent to) If the perks were included they would have to be some where else

I do believe that is the first time I heard the phrase "ass plate" used in a serious matter. *claps*
