My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Does Achronos know anything about the projects Bungie is working on?

I like Halo, It kills all sentinel life with sufficient bio-mass... and doesn't afraid of anything.

I really like how they handle the leaks.

It's pretty much like house rules. We can't control what you do anywhere else, but here, there's gotta be this respect to not go hardcore about leaks.

To play or not to play....

Posting of spoilers is a breach of the FORUM rules and also common sense.

The moderators will show no mercy when it comes to leaks about any upcoming game and possibly even certian events.

Leaks ruin the experience for many and certianly reduce the WOW factor to everyone who sees them. They also allow potential competitors to add things to their games etc. Hence destroying the uniqueness of any particular game.

It is uncool and unwelcomed by most people including the die hard fans. I hate leaked information. I don't mind legit release of information being discussed and debated. I actually fully encourage that kind of posting.

Leaked material that was either stolen, obtained under false pretense or whatever non legit methods is simply uncool.

BS is correct. Bungie will not give us an answer because the pictures are real. Why else would they drop the banhammer on these people and not everyone else?

Now they trapped themselves in a corner and they can either deny everything or do the honorable thing and admit the pictures are real and allow everyone they banned to come back onto the forum.

Unfortunately I think they will just deny everything until they die.

Does anyone from Bungie even have anything to say about my epic paragraph of ranting above? I'm interested in a response...

no one cares enough about your one obviously biased opinion enough to read through that much text. I am sure someone did, but I already know your opinion therefore taking the time to read through all of that is a waste of time.

just look at it this way Bigger isn't always better

Lol. Yea... I know I went on a rant, but I couldn't help myself. It is soooo easy to see that these pics are real.

I Love the Halo games, I just have a problem with Bungie. Lol.

I guess less text is better, but my wall of text might get noticed. Lol.

This can all be summed up in a few words. You have no rights. With that out of the way, whoever was the original person who leaked it is probably out of a job now. NDA's are taking seriously.

If leaked footage was published, it is showcasing a non finished product which might show bugs/gliches either with graphics, performance or some other issue that will give the impression the game is flawed. This gets spread around the internet and the reputation of the game and company comes under fire before it is even released. This affects sales, and that is something both Microsoft and bungie will not tolerate.

Besides, I can wait for the official release of any pictures or footage of the game, I will know it will be a better quality of a picture and with a bit more information regarding the game.

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

There are plenty of other fansite forums where people can discuss leaked everything.

Here it is against the rules.

Hate to say this, but I agree. This whole "We'll show you when it's ready" attitude is fine if we got a look say, next week. But the fact of the matter is, Bungie usually keeps us in the dark throughout the entire development cycle (which is the most important part of game creation obviously) and then reveals everything a month or two before the game's released. By that point it has already gone gold.

I prefer the secretive to Epic's Hype machine.
