I was thinking of selling my Xbox version of Halo CE So I could by the PC version so I could play it online and enhance the graphics. Only one problem, My computer runs on Windows Vista and I don't know if it will work or not, so I'm asking you, Can Halo CE PC work on Windows Vista?

"Are you ninja?" "No. Turtle"

I play it on my laptop with vista and it works great and havn't encountered a problem yet. Online is fun as well if you can get a server with low ping.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

It works fine. Vista has a problem with some nVidia cards, but that's fixed by turning of decals.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Vista isn't the problem, nVidia is.

Pass the controller bro

You might get some graphical issues like poor active camo and heavy framrate drops (Even if you have a fast computer). I'd keep Halo for the Xbox and buy Halo for the pc separately.

Im running halo on vista and it works fine, havent had a problem at all.Havent had a problem with nVidia either.

But if you keep halo 1 for xbox, can you play it online?

Get your facts strait. The game detects that your using an Nvidia gfx card and sets the camo to the worse one, due to during testing it had glitches.

Halo works just as well or better on Vista then XP.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Get YOUR "facts" straight. Not everyone finds Halo PC running well on Vista. I sure don't, without disabling decals. Using GeForce 9800 GT.

I don't really blame nVidia for not fixing a small problem exclusive to Halo CE on Vista. But of course, you're right. Vista isn't the problem; It's nVidia.
