Problem is the majority of Halo fans don't like role playing. So it would seem. Ensemble was susposed to make a Halo MMO first but scrapped it for Halo Wars. I guess they thought a RTS would do a lot better.
Hmmm but after playig Borderlands I think that this may work. I personally would love it if done right. As long as they don't make it as boring as Fallout 3. Great immersive game but combat and enemies started to bore me
If you can make an MMO FPS with the same button layout as halo 3 IE default, bumper jumper, and etc then it would work.
Use either the start button or dpad for extra options like menus and so forth. Since they arent really utilized in the game
But in order for the majority of Halo fans to really like it has to be action packed and when your not in action your getting cool treasures and also customizing your weapons, armor and etc
for example you have the Halo 3 plasma rifle you level up until you gain the ability to dual weild. Then finally you upgrade it to the halo 1 plasma rifle. Then finally the last stage the halo 1 PR gets the freezing qualities back
this could be cool for rockets to homming rockets. Or just make them seperate weapons.
Perks would actually be good in a MMO RPG FPS lol.
Hmmm maybe if bungie can make one more halo game and at the same time 343 industries works on the MMO then I would be all for it. 2 games to come out around the same time.
Ones the classic feel we all know and love
and the next one is an immersive story with a lot of customization but the way you move and shoot still feels like classic halo
