Okay i'll get to the point i think the knife should be a health killer it drain health but from you.
You give your health to it in order to get a fast kill if you dont have a shotgun because if you think about it the like pistol.
little not a main tool to be used its a last resort for killing you it as much times as you want it to but very dangerous like in swat 1 shot in head will kill you. I
think it would match some games play relly well that my idea plz comment my thread.

o_O

His problem isn't grammar as much as it is coherency. There is a difference. I think he is trying to say...that there should be a knife in Halo Reach...that when you use it, it takes away some of your health for the purpose of doing more damage.

How that works, or why you would want it to, are both things that escape me.

want to see some great videos then go to my youtube channel youtube.com/salsav91

it sounds like he wants to implement the throwing knife for MW2 into halo:reach.....at least that's the only conceivable answer I can translate from his...foreign language

Damn you 353 guilty spark! You killed the greatest stereotypical african american gun toting sergeant ever to tread upon a fictional futuristic setting!

From what I understand you are saying the knife drains your life when you use it. Why on earth would anyone use a knife that sucks the life out of you? It's a knife. I could blow your head off with a shotgun and wouldn't have to worry about a combat knife stealing my soul but still get a similar effect.

I could be wrong but I think what he's asking for is this. He wants a knife that does more damage than a normal melee attack, but inexplicably drains health from the Spartan in order to do so. The example he gave being when you're about to die, you could knife the guy who had a lot more health than you, and you would both die. In his mind this would be great because you were going to die anyway, so the knife performing the killing blow doesn't matter, only the damage you did to the other guy.

the only good response came from a guy with vodka in his name, and a pirate as his logo, you guys should be ashamed. a drunken pirate could comprehend him better then any of you, or perhaps its the vodka that makes him understand the language o.O;

It doesn't make much logical sense for a knife to drain your health. It also doesn't make much sense to even have a knife at all, at least in multiplayer as spartans are armored AND shielded. The knife wouldn't do much damage to the shield and can't go through metal armor. Now if the knife had some sort of energy or electricity running through it, it would make more sense, and building off of the OPs idea you could sacrifice some of your shield energy instead of your health and put it into the electric knife to make your knife attack more powerful. That makes more sense to me than a knife that mysteriously hurts you when you attack somebody with it.

Good point.

Why would the spartans even need a knife when they can flip 3-ton warthogs (not to mention the scorpion tank), so they have enough physical strength to tear other people apart. The knife would just be a useless piece of equipment to carry around.
