As some of you may know the Pelican has been the UNSC's dropship for quite a while. And the Spirit was the Covenant's dropship in Halo: CE. I was thinking we could fly these dropships on larger maps, old idea, I know. But I figured they could also be used as cover. If somebody might be camping inside the Pelican with a weapon, you can get up on the side and stick a grenade in the engine. And if somebody was taking off or landing with it, an enemy player could possible jump on to the Pelican and smash in the cockpit and take out the pilot, without the people in the carrier area knowing. Dropships could act very similar to the other vehicles in the game. They would of course be hard to kill, because all you could do is stick a grenade in the engine, kill the pilot, and use anti-aircraft weapons to destroy them. Normal weapons fire would not effect the dropships, but it would leave small dents in the side, and explosions could blast off important parts of the pelican, reducing ability to turn, accelerate, and ascend/descend.

I know this is a really long paragraph, not that I care. I just think this is how dropships should be implemented into the campaign, if not multiplayer.
ok I get it and I am your frist person!
