...the leaked pictures. Pretty much. Not that we couldn't already tell. But now they don't talk about it at all and try to act like it's still a big secret.

I thought they would have acted a little more sly. Perhaps tease a little and not BAN BAN BAN. It would have at least kept us guessing over the leaked pictures' legitimacy.

What did you think of the bungie.net staff's reaction to the supposed leaked pictures?

The Last Fighter

Well being Bungie, they love to overreact on every single thing. Typical Bungie.

The leaked pictures are not confirmed, and ANY leaked items are locked and banned for, weather they're real or not. Read the rules, they did it for Halo 3, too.

Eat raw meat.
Punch a bear in the face.

If you don't know who I am, the feeling is mutual.

Well, they did say no leaks. Whether those leaks are real or not, they're enforcing rules.

Besides, Bnet employees usually don't post on the Reach forums anyway.

EXTREME PREJUDICE

* Any user claiming to have, linking to, asking for, or otherwise discussing material that is claimed to be inappropriately "leaked" will be permanently banned, regardless of whether the leak is real or fake. "Leaked" material includes any material not officially released by Bungie via its website, its employees in their official capacity, or to the press.

Take note of the "real or fake" part.

By the way, the forum mods are not Bungie employees. They know as little as we common folk do.

I'm aware of the 'real/fake' part. If those were fake do you honestly believe their reaction would have been that aggressive? yeah no.

It isn't Bungie employees that are doing the reacting. The "they" you're referring to know as much as we do, and they're just doing their jobs, reacting to all leaks, whether they are real or fake.

The Mods didn't "choose" to act agressively about this. They are following the rules. Rules say: Ban.
