I was thinking of a new gametype idea for Halo: Reach. The name I reckon would best fit the gametype idea would be Switch. For short you could think of it as 2-ways infection.

So like infection where you get killed by a zombie, you join the zombie team, it just works back the other way (get killed by a human, you join the zombie team).

Infection: zombies --> humans
Switch: blue <--> red

In long you would start out with 2 or more teams. When get killed you join the team that killed you! This process would continue until there is only one team left! In a way it is a cross between team slayer and infection. Yes, this would have to be a free for all game as there would only be one team left.

I would like to know what you think of this idea!
Also, what do you think of the name "Team Switch" for this gametype?

NOTE: This would not appear as an infection variant!!! It would have it own complete gametype rules!

Well -blam!-, thats an awesome idea but bungie would probably have to make it a seperate gametype(Infection 2.0 or Dead Rising or something like that) so fans of the original infection don't start throwin' tantrums.

Well, its not infection so really it couldn't be called infection 2.0. It would have to be called Team Switch or something because not infection 2.0, even though it does have infection traits (the team switching) it would still be mostly team slayer.

An 8 man group joins a Forge type game variant, 4 players play and four players assist via access to different weapon drops according to team score.

With every kill resources are given to the each editor (little floating robot)

this way no more then a few weapons could be spawned and your team could choose which team player gets their desired weapon.

A cap would be needed for each team, like say a sniper would only be usable by one red and one blue member, unless of course they die and drop said weapon.

I don't remember asking for ideas for multiplayer gametypes... maybe make your own topic for this idea!
