There are too many kids screaming. There's a mute button.
Right, but my point was, they are all immature. Even when I do mute them, I still get teabagged or grenades thrown at my body.
I have a perfect example. I somehow just kept killing this one kid, and when he finally killed me, he wasted the rest of his grenades on my dead body. The immaturity almost made my head explode.
I've never had my body shot, had grenades thrown at, or humped in MW2.
I understand your point here, but I fail to see how it impacts the quality of the game. Neither Bungie nor Infinity Ward can control who plays their game, so I find this argument to be irrelevant.
Moving on, I believe both games have their merits but in my opinion Halo wins out. The reasons for this are twofold.
Firstly, I am a campaign kind of guy. In my opinion a game is only as good as its campaign. When Halo CE came out, online play (on consoles) was nonexistent. However, it became the standard by which all first person shooters were rated. Call of Duty's campaigns, although not bad at all, always leave me wanting more. I use Call of Duty 4 as my example. The campaign had very little replay value, as the AI was not very fun to play against (or with, for that matter) and the story was not particularly riveting. Halo's story, on the other hand, has become nearly Homeric in scope and has always been the more interesting. These reasons alone make Halo the better of the two for me.
This brings us to my next point, online play. I have played extensive multiplayer on both Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 and enjoyed them both to a degree. But again, I feel that the better of the two is Halo. Halo allows you to have an actual one on one fight every time you encounter someone, and it usually takes some skill (and a bit of luck) to get the kill. In Call of Duty 4 however, I find myself having considerably shorter time alive, seeing as how death is nearly instantaneous. Although this is more realistic, it is not as fun. I do enjoy Call of Duty's weapon customization, but by the same token I do not agree that it makes it the better game. In fact, the perk and weapon customization systems have caused a considerable amount of dispute, often giving a distinct advantage to one player over another.
I'd also like to address a point made by another member. Call of Duty is better to play with girls? Really? Do you actually consider that argument to have any validity whatsoever? I don't know about other people, but I buy and play video games to entertain myself, not my girlfriend. Since when have video games been about whether or not they are fun to play with girls? Think harder before posting next time, please.
To those of you who have read this far, you have my sincere congratulations and thanks. Well thought out and written posts are hard to come by, and I aim to change that.
