Well I'll stand up next to a mountain, and I'll chop it down with the edge of my hand.

Ok, so most of you would have read the topic in the ODST forum (link)about the mystery of the swords, glyphs, and dead elites and such. Apparently all these elements are going to solve a mystery to unlocking something. Whether this is real or they're just chasing fairies, everybody knows Bungie loves sending their fans on missions and searches, whether it be locating a space outside the map or using obscure bible references.

That's why I think for Bungie's final Halo game, they should create a mystery so epic and puzzling that it will make us fans go mad, but give us the greatest reward yet =] they should pull out all the tricks they've got. The bible, skulls, symbols, player skills, and everything else they can think of to send us on the biggest journey yet =]

first post i think and they should do a mystery leading us to have to do something crazy for like a scarab gun like in halo 2 something impossible to reach that we can only find by solving the mystery

Yep =] except not let it sit on a crappy crane or whateva it was. Make it a summary of the entire Halo series and its secrets, ending with cool effects and stuff =] with forunner tech and all that.

I don't understand why you're looking at my profile. Just back off, and nobody gets hurt, okay?

You know what? I want an epic story campaign first. I mean, I want something that, if novelized, would win a Pulitzer. I want a masterpiece here. That's where their efforts should be. If a subplot like that comes in, then fine. It better be up to scratch.

Agreed
