Something smells fishy...

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with either iBuypower or Sager computer companies.

I've been browsing the selections of both companies. But I just am not sure which company is better. As in which company is more reliable and which is held in higher regards. So if anyone has had any experience with either company it would be nice if you could post what you know:)

(Bungie > 343i)

Actually my dad has a custom built desktop from ibuypower, never heard of the other; I reccomend ibuypower.

They ship fast and know what they are doing.

Sager are GREAT laptop builders as well. Many companies "re-brand" Sager laptops or copy them in a lot of ways.

Sager is amazing, as stated.
ibuypower, as a retailer can be hit or miss, but generally good reviews.

Yeah. I like the idea of custom built notebooks. What they have to offer seems to be top-of-the-line.

Im a Bungie veteran. I have and always will serve them well.

For notebooks go with Sager or Asus. They both are amazing for the price.

unless you are purchasing a laptop its realy best just to build your own. People are intimidated by building a computer, but its not like it was in the early to mid 90's.

Computer parts now days are all collor coded, and most will only fit in one place, and in one way. You remeber those little toys for babies, the one where you match the green cube to the green square, and push it through? well if you can do one of those (which i would hope you can) then you can build a computer.

In this day and age, there is no excuse not too.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

I gotta disagree. The prices of OEMs are at a really low point these days. I always find it cheaper overall to find a good OEM and just upgrade from there. My PC, for example, would have run me over $1,000 if I had built it myself. But I bought an OEM, slapped in a new PSU and video card, and it totaled $800.

Check out my Gaming Rig on EVGA Mod Rigs.

Build your own. It will be a good experience.

Make sure not to go over board because Halo PC doesn't require much power.

...find a good OEM ...

No.. Just no.. They don't exist. You can build an awesome gaming rig for $500-$600 and have superior quality compared to any computer from any OEM
