now alot of people want campaign and doont get me wrong campaign rocks but once youve done campaign about five times it gets old were as multiplayer rocks and keeps on rocking but you know what i don't care I'm just happy to get a new halo game

This. Except with better grammar.

Here's to hoping that the campaign will be the most long and compelling since CE, with an equal focus on multiplayer. I don't want a completely over the top campaign, and then a horrid multiplayer. That wouldn't have longevity; I would play the game for a couple months until campaign gets old and then be done with it completely.

I really want an awesome campaign, but MP is infinitely more important. Not that they can't do both though.

"I swear, I didn't shoot you! That bullet was in your head before I pulled the trigger..."
"Ordinarily I would tell you to stand back if you don't want to be injured. But in this case, I'll make an exception. I'm going to beat down every last one of you!" -Kenshin Himura

I want my cake and I want to eat it too... and you know what? I think Bungie, with their God-like powers, will grant me that ability.

There will be both an epic campaign, and a totally beautiful, fantastically awesome MP... but hey, that's just what I think.

I mean, the CoD fanboy with the cobra in his profile picture must know much more than me because he obviously knows ALL about insignificant stats.

CoD is ok but once you prestige you lose all weapons and have to rank up again. At least with Halo there are many ranks and unlockable armour, I hope there is some new armour in Reach, Recon looks cool, especially in steel grey and yes I want it but I'm one of those who follows the Road To Recon not the "suck-Bungie's-a$$-I-can-haz-recon" method.
Halo 3's armour is great and a challenge to get all armour and achievements, the thought of having VidMaster achievements to unlock Recon was cool. I hope Reach follows in it's predecessors footsteps and kicks-covenant-butt!

Here's to Halo:Reach! I hope it's not one of those things where the book is way better then the game/film where they miss out crucial keypoints leaving people who haven't read the books completely confused!

Out of these two available options, I'd have to go with the 15-mission campaign. I've always preferred SP (singleplayer) over MP (multiplayer) in any games I rent or buy.

Also, where's the "Both" option in this poll? ;)

A long decent campaign is better than any multiplayer system! Even though some people prefer multiplayer, out of the people who play games on the xbox, only a small amount have xbox live.

So a good campaign would be better. Like Halo CE, it should be about 8-10 hours first time through on normal with a storyline that makes the player keep playing.

However multiplayer is still important these days!

You obviously didn't play Halo: CE, i played that campaign again, again and again and never got tired of it, the best halo campaign so far.
That's what i want from reach, and epic campaign that you never get tired with it.

It better be huge. Halo 2 huge at the least. And yes, massive battle. Hell, I don't care if one or two missions are taken up by it, it would be well worth it.

i would like halo 2 campaign lenght and atmosphere.in the arbiter level(especially the ine with the sentinel and the flood)made u feel really alone and isolated,u wanted to take care of ur troops so u wouldnt lose them.on halo 3 u cant have that with the invincible arbiter nect to u.apart from that i think they should focus more on mp cause there are endless possibilities and fun when campaign is the same

Your friendly and eccentric Sangheili forum-poster. :)

Campaign definitely has to be the focus this time. Like everyone says, the multiplayer works so Bungie only need to do minor tweaks to what we already have (only on a different engine) and just focus on the features, weapons, and everything like that of the Campaign.

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

This is bungie's last halo game, they should go all out and have both.
