it's the internet on the xbox! it's like going on 4chan /b/, posting pics of a girl and expecting them to say "please don't post pictures of people without their agreement :/".
people act like tough macho online because they'll never be caught and will never have to take responsibility for what they say/do.
and that phenomenon is even worse on halo. it's like, THE game for the 360. not only the older people will do it, but 12 year olds will do such things too for the lulz and because they'll never be caught.
the best thing to do is get 3 or 4 friends, and play with them while muting the enemy team. that's likely the only thing you can do.
bungie/MS doesn't control what peeps say over the XBL.
