Some of you don't seem to know the rules about leaks and spoilers. If you link to something about Reach (pictures, videos, etc) that hasn't been released by Bungie, you will be banned forever.

Posting information about the game such as the plot, characters, etc. (also known as "spoilers") will get you a pretty decent ban. Even after the game gets released, spoilers are not allowed.

Save yourself the trouble and just don't link to any leaks or talk about leaked material. If you find that you have posted a link to leaked materials, you should go to your post, hit the "Edit" button, and remove what you typed.

If we say something about the campaign on Halo 3, would that still be considered a spoiler even though it's been out for more than two years? And if not, when do we know we can post stuff without getting banned for it?

Usually the no spoilers rule only applies for the first few weeks a game is out. If you went into the Halo 3 Forum right now and made a thread about how you kill the Prophet, I doubt the thread would be locked as long as it encourages discussion.

Ah, so would it be the same for Halo 3: ODST?

Just read the forum rules.

People have stated theyve been getting 14 day bans instead of permanent bans. But they could be first time offenders. Best not to test it out.

I've heard both 2 week bans and permabans. Maybe it just depends on the mod.
