The Flood

While i'm here...is The Flood good? Or I should buy First strike?

3 books.

The Fall of Reach = A prequel to Halo, tells the story of the Spartan's youth and development into supersoldiers

The Flood = Pretty much a rehash of the game Halo with a bit more detail and info

First Strike = Everything that happens from the end of Halo to most probably the beginning of Halo 2, a lot of good info and reading here.

The Fall of Reach and First Strike were both written by Eric Nyland and are great reads
The Flood was written by Dietz and isnt nearly as good because the writing is flat and you might as well just play through the game (IMO anyways)

You can find em at any decently sized books store

Buy First Strike, it's great, the Flood is sub-par at best, and you just wanna play the game rather than read

Bungie didnt write the books themselves, Nyland is a fairly successful Sci-Fi writer. However, they worked closely with Nyland and everything in the story is straight from the Halo Bible, which means it's all true and relevant to the story

Alright.. now what's this BS w/ Ilovebees.com? Why're you people trying to relate it to the Halo storyline? Just because its similar what they do to the Flood and whatnot? Everything is just so confusing.

OK, but I think I'll buy it(the flood)...for extra info.

Please don't bring up ILOVEBEES. Everyone thinks they have all these great theories, but they're just that: theories. Nothing can be proved until Bungie does so. If you want to find out more about ILOVEBEES, go find the 7000 post thread about it. It's here somewhere but it's blocked.
