the original xbox is the true future of online gaming

i get the error where when i try to log onto matchmaking, the bungie new box is empty and nothing else appears. i am able to log onto the xbox servers when you first start up halo 2 but when i get to match making it seems the server is down or something, and by the way im using my original xbox, ill be very very very pissed if they shut it down. halo 2 is what made the original xbox experiance amazing.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.
Xfire: JacobGRocks.
50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

According to this, they say it is a live issue and call MS.

If you are having trouble with Xbox Live on Halo 2, you should contact Microsoft support and open up a support ticket. The symptoms you describe seem to indicate a problem with Xbox Live matchmaking services, not anything Bungie maintains.

First you have to delete the damaged maps and then clear the cache, turn off the box and unplug all wires then restart. This should work if the right message was sent.

I think MS has a bunch of stock messages and because they have so many different problems with the 360 the stock messages do not cover all problems. In other words, I can have the exact same problem twice and get two different (but similar) messages.

Ive done all of that before, I think its because I changed my GT, it can have problems with the multiplayer if you do.

Yeah, gotcha, I hate it when they give you the damaged map routine and it's something else entirely.

Femme fatale; oh snap. | Halo vet since 2003.

Oh, good, so it's not just me. Since I got Halo 2 back in 2006 for myself, I've been having to get configuration files updated every time I log on to play matchmaking. Those files are refusing to update now.

Kinda answers my question to what's going on... *scowls at lack of proper SWAT*
