Subject: Campaing theory...

I aint read the books but I know one is called "Fall of Reach", and as far as im aware its been confirmed this game will not be one of the books as a game.

However, "Reach" is an area and not really much of a lead.

What if Halo: Reach is more than one Campaing? e.g. One being the Prequel before Halo 1, 2, ODST and 3, and the other being way after (Chief walking round in a smashed up Planet like the Rookie in New Mombassa?).

Also if this is somehow correct the 2 would play together like ODST did (you pretty much start at or near the end of the story and backtrack with Missions, in this case, the first Campaing)

Anyone think I might be roughly right or am I just being thick?

(Elites need more armour for Multiplayer)

yeah, more elite armor choices. Halo: Reach needs to be a more exciting and intense experience like halo 1. I literally had an underline rush when I was competing the last level in halo 1, that was awesome!

This "Reach" you speak of is actually a planet that is almost for sure going to be the location of the campaign in Halo:Reach. After all, the name is in the dang title.

Yeah but from what I gather alot has happened to it so its hard to place where the story will surround on it

Well I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the campaign will probably center around the battle for Reach. I don't know if the game will be like the book, but I am sure more fighting happened in the battle for Reach than was in the book. Again, as many other people have said, it would probably be a good idea to read the book before posting radical ideas like this.

the "master chief lands on reach after halo 3 and has flashbacks" theory. or the "time warp" theory. your post is eerily similar to some of those theories. and for the chief to have flashbacks, he would have to do it after halo 3, because according to the books(which are held as canon) chief leaves on the PoA almost immediately after the covenant arrive, so he wouldn't be around after the glassing.

Well you can tell from the trailer that it is during the Battle of Reach. It's basically the Pearl Harbour of the series.

I love the entire Halo series, Halo 2 being my favorite of the games. I think that the universe is compelling and the story is deep, sweeping, and powerful. The hidden layers in the Halo trilogy and rich details of the backstory in the novels are something I love to be lost in, and im greatly looking forward to the story that Halo: Reach will weave. Bungie has carefully and lovingly crafted a mythic tale that will stay etched in my mind until the end.

No, its not the "Pearl Harbor" of the series. You say Pearl Harbor because Pearl Harbor was the US's first battle in WW2. the planet Reach was not Humanity's first battle with the Covenant, the planet Harvest was, 20 years before the battle at Reach.

Durka Durka its not that complicated, i dont know how some of you mess up the Halo story so bad sometimes, its not like its Metal Gear Solid or anything. Pretty simple stuff that people make mountains of confusion out of somehow.

It was much more than that.

it was a battle. There were losses and consequences, but there was an attack, a defense, and it was a th fight that brought the United States into the war. Dont try to spin into anything else.

This could be possible but is highly unlikely the Main Halo Series has ended and if anyone is going to interpret the Halo 3 Legendary Ending and make Halo 4 it won't be Bungie. Halo Reach is showing the Fall of Reach and the Covenant glassing the planet and the Spartan defense. Three Spartans have been confirmed so far Noble One, Sierra-259 and Sierra-320.
Nice idea but it probably won't happen sorry.
