Ummm, wait what? How does getting it once stop you from getting it again? It's like looking at some statistics that say, "on average each person will get mugged atleast once in their lifetime".
If you are walking on the streets at 1 in the morning in the bad part of town you are going to get mugged more then other people.
Poor analogy is poor, I know. But what I am trying to say is it doesn't matter if you have had red-ring before, if you treat your Xbox poorly you will get red-ring again.
If you have had red-ring, you have probably treated your Xbox poorly. the red rings were caused by a manufacturing fault because the exhaust fans or what ever were to close to the circuit boards and the heat made them warp. when you send your xbox in, they fixed the internal hardware so that it was more spaced out and they most likely installed more efficient cooling systems. therefore, the only way you would get them again is if you set your thermostat to 100 degrees, put your xbox in a small, unventilated area, and left it running for 2 weeks straight without ever turning your ceiling fan/ oscillating fan/ portable air-conditioner on, causing your console to have a nuclear melt down.
