I'll admit Bad Company was average, it could have done without the comdey, but it wasn't great. The destructable cover was cool, but whilst Modern Warfare 2 may have a good campaign, it's even stronger in Multiplayer. While Halo may have a cartoony gameplay experience, MW brings on the realism. Having to check corners and use cover is vidal in MW, as apposed to Halo's most used tactic: power weapons.
I have one word to sum this up
LOL!
But here is an explanation anyway. Your simplistic views of the matter need to be adressed
Halo is about teamwork. Teamshooting- this is mainly shown with scoped weapons like the BR. Normally a good team will try to position themelves on a map to gain an advantage and this is needed even more then cod since not every weapon in halo can kill someone instantly. So in order for your team to be sucessful you have to be coordinated
In COD teams try to do this too. But you can still go rogue and r ape a whole team since you can kill them all in one shot. In Halo when the teams are even players can't rogue and kill every one. They will be in for a rude awakening when they get teamed BRed
In halo you have energy shields. This eliminates randomness and focuses more on whos the better overall shot instead of oh I saw you first too bad. Since in COD every gun is close to one shot then focus fire isnt important since it only requires on person to make an instant kill and assist really dont make a difference
Being that Halo is not a class game. It focuses on weapon and powerup control. This allows teams to become even more strategic as oposed i start with whatever I want. No areas on the map are a point of interest besides the ones I can camp
COD doesnt take skill. Most people camp to get kills so they can call and Air Strike, Predator Drone, Harrier, and etc. Once they get these things they pretty much rack up a lot of kills with no effort from the player.
Its bad enough the person is winning but now he gets to get 6 cheap kills with lets say a chopper. Then he just widened the gap without really needing to do anything.
Maps in COD are poorly designed. The small desert map that has a tower with metal stairs to them. Mostly everyone spawns right next to each other. I even spawned with two people directly in front of me with there backs turned. I grinned but I knew it was unfair.
I camped the stairs to the tower in somewhat of a hiding space. I killed one guy then imediatly turned to the other part of the hiding space to watch him spawn and repeated it with another player
This happened because the map is a fail. The spawns are a fail. I have a feeling they like to spawn the person that you killed so they can get a revenge kill on you. I just thought of that and abused their mistake
