In Halo 3, all the armor permutations only change the chest, shoulders, and head for both Spartans and Elites. In Reach, should you be able to change the lower half of your armor, too?

Personally, it would make you seem more unique among other players, and Bungie would be able to make much more different kinds of armor. Maybe even Arbiter armor, since it would look pretty wacky with the arbiter chest, shoulders, and head, with a normal elite's arms, legs, and feet/hooves/whatever.

I agree that it would be cooler if you could customize more of the armor. Like CQB has its unique helm, chest, shoulders, arms, hip/leg pieces.

It'll add that ability for everyone to be unique. I would like them to take it a little further and see more types of armour.

It'll also reduce the amount of people wearing the exact same armor and meeting up.

It happened to me before, I join a matchmaking game and there somebody is, a near to exact clone of my spartan (same helm, chest, and a least 1 shoulder) but different colors.

Rock + Metal = Life
Simple math

Yeah, everybody should be able to be unique

That is how everything is going. All be a part of something, but find a way to be different and stand out from everyone else. Customization is huge now and has grown. I love my 360, but I wish or discs had the storage capiticy of Blu-Rays so extras things could easily be more included without worrying about how to fit the entire game onto a disc/s.

I think the current system is fine.

I like Halo 3's permutation system better than other player customization systems in other games because it's simple. It's not an overly complicated system like Rainbow Six Vegas, where you have players running around in ridiculously complicated getups.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is hardly "complicated" I can go through it and pick out what armor and clothes I want with relative ease. However, in Rainbow Six your outfitting choices actually effect gameplay.

We aren't talking insanely fancy choices, just have the current one with a hip/legs and arms section.

I think people should actually contribute to the topic instead of posting dumb shit that has nothing to do with it. Oh wait... with idiots like you, thats impossible.

P.S. The search bar comes up with nothing about the OP's suggestion being said before.

Bungie is actually run by a toaster. The other kitchen appliances do the dirty work of keeping everyone in line.

-captain kmart

yes but it would need memory to do and could thus take away another great feature

Get something with more memory?

Full customization for the win.

Eat raw meat.
Punch a bear in the face.

If you don't know who I am, the feeling is mutual.

I WANT THE OPTION TO TAKE MY PANTS OFF!!!

But on a less serious note, I'd like to fully customize my armour. You know how Mickey had the shotgun shells around his leg? I want something like that.
