I love my pancakes [:

make it that either elite, brute or spartan respawn in a pelican/phantom to give a drop off for you on the 'respawn'location and invincible for 3 secs also a AI turret to defend to stop campers getting quick kills

please debate your ideas on this simple problem solving method

also are we getting the CE phantoms or the H2/3 phantoms? wich would be more sutable?

p.s the turret can have short range?, less damage but continued fire will kill?, huge spread(accuracy) or something on that line

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

Or....

Respawn Settings: 3 seconds : Player Health: Invincible
Player Damage: 10%
Player Speed: 110%

And/Or include enemy line of sight into the respawn calculation.

All this pain is an illusion.

I liked how Half Life 2: Deathmatch was set up to prevent spawn killers, you were invincible until you moved around. Reach won't add something like that I bet...

If they use that exact system, a team could get up by a certain amount of kills and then let themselves get killed so that the rest of the game they were invincible.

Spawn camping isn't usually a problem. If you're getting spawn camped, it's because the other team is dominating the map and forcing you to spawn in a certain area.

Good point, I don't see how to fix that. Maybe add a timer to the invincibility, which it'll either take it away or boot you from the game. But I'm thinking the current system will stay the same as it's always been
