Why are you reading my signature? Who actually opens these things and reads them!

And as always, SEND ME A PM. Please. Or really bad things will happen to you.

I wouldn't like music, but if the scenery made more noise it would be cool. The wind whistling or the water making some noise would be a nice addition and it would add some contrast to the otherwise chaotic warfare.

I would love this! It would add to the feel of the game. In customgames you could put your own tracks, choose how long they play, and when. Maybe it shouldn't be default in matchmaking and only a customgames option. Imagine playing a journey game of infection with "Blow Me Away" playing. You guys agree?

It could just be an option for customgames.

maybe intense music when someone is really close to capping a flag or a bomb is near detonation.

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

You can just plug in your iPod or copy music to ur Xbox like I do and listen to it from there. :)

During mid-gameplay, it might become distracting and mess up a player, but during the climax of games, such as 10 kills away from winning, some frantic music would start playing giving it all a desperate feeling.

Same when the bomb is planted, some drums would start up in a fast beat, making it seem fast and such.

Or, the opening of a game, music would play for 30 seconds or so.

No it wouldnt. Perfect Dark 64 is a great example of this. It had an epic score, and it didnt distract me or my friends while playing. In fact, it enhanced the experience.

(1)the only way to escape death is death itself.
(2) pwn the world bungie
(3) never give in to BS, your always going good in your own way.

it sounds like a good idea. I don't know how bungie would incorporate the music though.

I would rather just be able to access the music on my computer and play it on my xbox while I play like I do now.

i liked the ideas, they should put it only when something is happening like:
+you´re about to win ,
+the zombis are comming
+the flag/bomb carrier is planting the bomb or taking the flag

Tallahassee?
I spent two weeks in Tallahassee one night.

Yes and No. I would like music to make it epic but I also want to hear game noises like if I hear someone pick OS then i am gonna avoid them for a bit. I would like it because I like the music in Campaign.

Ugh...

First on a BWU.. yeah, I'm cool.

ODST;MYTHIC Screenshot winner! One of the first to get their hands on the mythic map pack.

Well, you have the option to plug in your Ipod to the Xbox, or a USB drive with music on it and play that. There is music in the menu. There is also music in firefight.

You can listen to your Ipod on some speakers, or headphones. There really is no need to add music to matchmaking.

Your friendly and eccentric Sangheili forum-poster. :)

Having an option to turn it on or off during games would suit everyone's own tastes.

Don't Tread on Me

I've always thought it was cool that there wasn't music during MP. If you really want music then you could play it from your 360's hard drive =)

  • 11.16.2009 1:18 PM PDT

I had this idea and I think it would be cool for the last minute of a Slayer game, the same kind of music as firefight.

I personally love music while I play and I have none on the xbox and if I did I couldn't hear the gameplay, so background music you could turn on and off would be EPICIZED!
