I was thinking that an armor permutation (head, chest, and shoulders) that looks like the Halo 3 marine armor would be pretty cool. Agree or disagree.

EDIT: What I mean is an armor perm that LOOKS SIMILAR to the marine armor. Obviously it would have shields, a closed helmet, etc.

For a moment I thought you were suggesting that we have a realistic Marine model. And that they change the name from Halo: Reach to Call of Duty: Halo.

Not really.couple reasons. It doesnt fit with the sheilding aka without the MJOLNIR, no sheilds. It would reveal the spartans face, and if it still had a helmet it would be mismatched.

Jesus Christ. I really need to spell out every little detail don't I? What I meant was a MARINE-LIKE armor perm. As in SIMILAR TO THE MARINE ARMOR, but obviously with the necessary changes. They had the ODST helmet didn't they?

I can already imagine wearing pink marine armor

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

I would enjoy H1 marine, H2, and ODST armors.

im one second from taking this to the next level.

Bungie, if they are using hind-sight at all, will make Armor add-on packs DLC. That question was asked so many times before Bungie just finally said "We can't." So hopefully they've learned.

A little quick on the draw to the COD troll. Subtlety is key!

If you just mean the helmet, the Rogue is pretty close. I'd be more interested in getting the marine chest and shoulder armor.

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

The Body and the Shoulders would be a great addition, but they would have to add a faceplate to the helmet.

Well, in some Halo Wars scenes they have a balaclava underneath, that could work.

I'd like it to look like the concept art for the marine, but you know add a balaclava to cover the face
