Well... i recently switched from halo to CoD because of one big problem in halo. CAMPING. we all hate it and i have an idea that probably sounds stupid, so bear with me and don't flame. I think bungie( or microsoft if it doesn't happen in reach) should put a timer on how long someone can stay in a fifteen foot radius( something like that) before they respawn in a different area. once they are kicked from that area, they would have all same weapons and everything, but they couldn't go back to that area for a certain amount of time. this would eliminate someone sitting in the corner waiting with a shotgun. If they put health back in reach, this would also eliminate the large problem of people camping by the health pack. just a thought. don't flame and if you like this idea or don't like feel free to refine it to the way you think it should work.

<EDIT> sorry i should've put an option of maybe in the poll but didn't realize until after i submitted<>

would a magical hand just push them away from the area? how would it work?
also, camping is lame. but it is a tactic, so it won't happen, sorry.

My troll sense is tingling.

Camping happens a LOT more often in CoD than in Halo. But we do get shields and health bar, so there will be med kits.

Oh ive definitely experienced in Cod but it just happens more often to me in halo.

as i mentioned it would respawn you at a different spawn point as if you died, but you would still have all equipment weapons etc...

just an idea and ya it probably won't be put in but just sometimes you wanna get something out there.

What spectagon are you in?

That's the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard lol.

You don't 'switch' from game to game. CoD is just newer so you're playing it more, whereas Halo has been around for some time so it gets kind of boring. I'm on MW2 right now, but I'm most probably going to go back to Halo 3 after a while.

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

When was the last time you played Call of Duty? 9 out of every 10 players camps in multiplayer. You have issues with camping and switched to COD? wow, man. Just, wow.

Yes, it would help to eliminate camping, but no, I don't want it.

Camping sucks, but to be perfectly honest, most of the problem is your team being dumb. If you get killed by the same camper in the same place twice, you're an idiot, or your team is composed of idiots who don't communicate or work together. There are some maps that can be difficult to get rid of campers because of the map layout and weaponsets, but is not an issue with the tactic itself.

For the most part, Halo's shield system gives you plenty of opportunity to fight back, the grenades and stickies allow you plenty of opportunity to get at hard to reach places, or at least do a suicide stick. Also, with the respawning weapons, if another team camps, you have the opportunity to powerups and power weapons on their respawn and take it to them. Camping really isn't a big deal overall, on most maps.

There are a few exceptions to my above statement, on places like the old Snowbound, the current Construct and that blasted lift camping, and team doubles (the worst ever).

P.S. Call of Duty has the worst camping I've ever seen. Because of the instakill weapons and the ability to go prone, people camp like crazy and get super easy kills. Not that kills aren't easy enough to get by spraying anyway, but that's another story.
