We all know MC won't be a playable character in Reach, but what about his squad? In the book, the battle of Reach was only 2 or 3 chapters, the game will be longer and more action packed. Do you think it'll be like ODST where you play as all your squad mates (except for Dare) or be like Halo 1, 2, and 3 where you play as one specfic character.

No, I don't want to join your group/clan/team/community.

How do you know MC wont be playbale, Nothing has been said about it thus making your statement invailded.

It will most likely be like ODST far different sides of the story but in realtime.

Bungie said that after halo 3, you'd never play as the MC in any more upcoming game made by them.

It really depends on how the story goes. Like if it goes through the book the Fall of Reach and First Strike It would be multi character. I like that idea. But mayby Fred he was the leader at the time where the SPARTANs went down to Reach.

I don't have a link, but if you post a thread asking if we'd play as the MC, you'll be surprised.

Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphors have two parts : form and interpretation; of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom being the briocoleus, the mason.

Well seeing how they portrayed H3R's story, im thinking Bungie will have us play through different spartans to show the different events of the fall of reach. There were multiple teams of spartans, so it would make sense if you played as a spartan from each team to tell the story.

ODST seemed like a testing ground. Notice they kinda brought in classes without any extra buffs and multiple team mates with the same skill as you. ODST, imo, was testing a few things to see how to work them for Reach.

Basically, this. I'm still hoping we'll get to play as the Master Chief.

Who doesn't want to hear "I need a weapon" again?

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

There are so many more cooler Spartans than the Chief. John is cool and all but I'd rather play as one of his squad mates.

It'll be based around multiple dudes, whether Spartans or not, we don't know. Either way, much like ODST, the focus will be on the Squad.

Good, bad, I'm the guy with the clichéd lines.

I believe they said that Halo 3 was the end of Master Chief's story. And Halo Reach is a prequel, which means Master Chief can be in it.

And I think it will revolve around Sam, Kelly, John (Master Chief), Fred, and Linda.
