I don't really know about the different AR variants, but I've seen a few threads mentioning them. It seems like there are like 10 variants! Would you want them in Reach?

Challenge me to a Hawaiian Punch chugging contest. I dare you.

$.50 in store credit.

Thre are two variant: the Halo: Ce and Halo 2 variant. Having multiple variants of the same gun would be redundant. Bungie will probably just make a new version of it.

I'm one with the warrior inside. The evidence can't be denied. The entire world will stare. Into this battlefield tonight. As I stand before you with a warrior's heart now. I can feel the strength that will Ensure my victory this time

The only known variants are the MA5B, and MA5C. MA5B was in CE, MA5C, was NOT in use until the Battle of Earth.

Um what? I think the only kind of AR that should be in Reach is the CE one, because instead of getting a mediocre mid-range weapon you get a very effective close-range weapon.

There are in fact more types of ARs, I read somewhere in one of the Halo books about different assault rifle types and such. I don't know their names, and that's because I never cared, but there is still more out there and I'm sure of it.

That is totally coolzorz that you know about ARs that were presented in the books!!! Now do you know how they function in a video game and can you make an accurate decision on which one plays the best in a video game?

That's what I thought. The books don't matter at all here.
