Think about it. It's the direction FPS's are going and you know it. Halo CE - ODST have all been pretty much the same game, like the madden series or something. Halo needs to step up its game to remain competitive. Certain leaks have hinted at a perk system too.

I bet all the weapons will be tweaked and balanced to allow a class based shooter.

I think the core halo gameplay what with the jumps and such will remain the same.

I bet there will be squad elements, I mean just look at the teaser picture.

In the end it will probably end up as Halo's version of the modern warfare series. More militaristic, less space opera-ish. Definitely a new flavor, and probably still a good game.

Btw - polls on bungie.net mean absolutely nothing, so please don't use them to try and prove some kind of point.

Yep i want it to feel like a new game, not same as it ever was- same as it ever was.

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

Doubt it. This is Bungies last Halo game, i doubt they will do something as drastic as making it class based. Of course you could also argue that they would do it because it's their last. Anyway, I'd rather have the traditional type of multiplayer with improvements of course.

Good, bad, I'm the guy with the clichéd lines.

Yeah and motion sensing is the wave of the future in gaming but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

IMO a Halo game with classes wouldn't be a Halo game. The core concept for it (imo) is a system where all players are equal (and thus the skilled win over the unskilled) and the weapons are what add the variety.

Yes but this traditional type of multiplayer is dated. It's not bad or anything, but seems to have simply lost some of it's appeal. I just want more of the halo universe in the game that I can directly interact with- namely the guns and the MJOLNIR armor. The MJONIR can do so much cool stuff in the books; its like the last piece of tech you'll ever need for life. It comes with its own A.I. that knows everything about everything and is basically an armored iphone. Give me tons of apps to customize it with, not just shields. VISR is step in right direction but need to add things like vehicle tracking, enemy devices detection, thermal of course, night vision, motion sensor tracking. Let us place motion trackers around things like the flag or tank, and if enemies get close it will beep or flash a light, or both to let you know. Def needs to be able to plant explosive devices but ones that can be set for things like bouncing bettie (for a room of 3 or more enemies), EMP pulse (Drops shields radar and any active programs, shuts down vehicles),and cluster mine ( basically a massive claymore built for vehicles. should basically be harder better faster stronger. work it. make it. do it. makes us.

Although I highly doubt that it will be class-based, I actually wouldn't mind to see that kind of gameplay. (Like Team Fortress 2, not Call of Duty)
