throwning snowballs at cars is like doing a bell ditch. The end result is basically the same: sprinting away from the large man exiting his car who yells profanities, hiding behind a house, and watching as his car patrols the street, waiting to murder you.

Asking the flood for dating advice is like you going up to a bunch of starving Africans and debating the pros and cons of the bacon roll vs the double cheeseburger.

Some one who stands for nothing shall fall for everything.

old thread is old

and on topic there are over 20 topic about this and you are late.

Oh you simple minded fools. When will you learn to stretch your imaginations a bit.

Also, yes.

As long as it's optional.

Nobody is considering about how much good natal could do.

It could be optional for Forge, to have more say in where and how things are positioned.

It could be a required for a new "machinima mode" that would allow your spartan to mimic movements you did in natal, taking machinima to an entirely new level.

It could be optional in cutscenes, much like Ninja Blades "press button Ken does this" cutscenes, but much more in depth. Like you having to nail a specific reload animation.

But of course. People only consider it to be a requirement in standard matchmaking or something.

Such simple minds.

Absolutely not.

Natal screams 'gimmick' to me the same way the Sega CD did. If games intend to support it, I won't buy them.

Call me a skeptic, but EyeToy 2.0 doesn't interest me until I see actual games running with it, and the demos have been lackluster.

No for those things too. I hate motion sensing.

Cutscenes would be cool with NATAL. but the rest. No.

  • 11.17.2009 1:17 PM PDT

YOU'RE STILL ALIVE?!?

No. If Bungie wants to do that they shouldn't make it a requirement. I don't think they even can though. The Beta comes out early next year, but Natal comes late next year. It could come out after the game itself for all we know.

May I ask how would Project Natal possibly make Halo Reach any better? Clunky gameplay comes into mind.

I SWEAR TO G---

You know what. I'm not going to even bother trying with the amount of imbeciles on this forum who don't even consider the fact that it could be optional.

Hell, in guitar hero, using the guitar is optional. When the focus is on GUITAR. Why can some people not think that a minor feature like Natal would be required. I just don't understand.

You soooooo few people who actually agree with this, do you understand it would take MANY resources away from actually making the game in a traditional manner?

  • 11.17.2009 2:52 PM PDT

No, don't feel like doing jumping jacks to reload my assault rifle and arm spins to reload my Sniper rifle. I wish people would stop coming up with pathetic ideas to stay in some form of shape playing video games. Sorry but there is no substitute for getting off the couch or out of the chair than going out side and actually using your muscles for what they are intended for.

This. All of it would be kickass. Just keep natal out of traditional gameplay and I'll be happy.

No, not even as an option. It would be just waste of their time for anything useful on it.

Some would argue that Theater was a waste of time. It's all opinionated on what is and isn't a waste.

Some could even say that rather than focus on FireFight in ODST, they could of made the campaign 13 hours long, and extended the city streets of new mombasa.

Like you said, I wouldn't mind it if it was optional. Also like you said, they could implement it in many other places besides MM that wouldn't really affect gameplay too much, and could actually help it. I'm just always skeptical about motion sensing stuff, as it never does it the way I want it to, and I just don't like it in general. But depending on the use and how good it senses your motions, it could be cool. But as far as multiplayer, I couldn't ever see myself using it if implemented.
