Poll: Do you want No-Scope Headshot medals in Reach? [closed]
Total Votes: 186
Comment along with you vote.
EDIT:
Just to clarify:
When I say no-scope headshot, I am refering to a no-scope head shot with the SNIPER. This includes Human AND covenant snipers (assuming they are included in reach.) Not any other weapons.
ONLY SNIPERS!
No, not even the rockets... or the flamethrower.
Original Post:
This would NOT replace the snipe medal.
Head shot kill with sniper using the scope = Snipe medal
Head shot kill with sniper without using the scope = Snipe medal AND No-Scope medal
Body shot kill with sniper without using the scope = NO MEDAL
This would make it SO much easier to keep track of No-Scopes. I mean, aren't they the coolest thing to pull off (besides traffic cone suicides.) The only way to prove that you got a no-scope is to go into theater, find the clip, record it, and then send it to all you friends with the title "l337 n0-3c0pe LOL0L!!!!!1!1".
Why go through all that when you could just show them your bungie.net profile. We have shotgun sprees, splatter sprees, and bulltrues, so why not noscope medals?
I really see no reason NOT to have no scope medals, yet there are so many reasons to have them. Post your opinions and vote.
Maybe we can get it in Reach if we get enough votes...
EDIT
Look, I've noticed alot of talk about how to interpret no-scopes, if they're a legitimate or consistently effective tactic, what exactly a no-scope is defined as, people saying that they're only based on luck, and even arguments that people we become reckless with the sniper because they want the glorious no-scope medal.
All of these are opinions and speculation.
I don't care if you think that someone with 1,000,000,000 no-scopes in their service record is a complete noob who doesn't use legitimate bla bla bla bla... I don't care.
I just want A WAY TO TRACK NO-SCOPES. Just like you can track beatdowns, assault rifle kills, and mongoose splatters!
All of the above speculation could not have been made if there isn't a no-scope medal count in someone's service record. Once we HAVE that statistic, then you can say, "Oh, wow he's got like 100 trillion-million-gazillion no-scope medals. He's just a recklessly noobish leprechaun!"
Whatever.
I just want to track them.
End of story.
Done.
Finished.
END OF EDIT
Just kidding. :)
