Subject: how to treat other players

when you are playing the online multiplayer portion of halo: reach, treat other players like you would treat your friends when your playing halo: ce split screen multiplayer with them.

also treat other players just as professional, major league athletes treat there opponents. with professional respect and admiration. have good sportsmanship.

I wish, then I could slap the controllers out of their hands and kill them more easily, then teabag :D

I'm kidding, but you didn't need to make this thread. People will teabag. People will trash-talk. People will betray. People will kill theif. There is no stopping that.

Edit: MLG pros trash-talk, and I'm sure they would teabag if they were safe to do so.

Unfortunately too many people take advantage of their anonymous identity over Xbox Live and say things that they might not normally say to you if you were face to face and you were within punching distance.

i treat everyone on xbox live like they are my secret lover.

i know that. i know my vision of playing awesome games with other mature people ages 15 through whatever will probably not come true. instead i will probably end up playing against little kids with high pitched voices who think naruto is the best. or 15 year old d-bags whos names are X xelitexsniper 142Xx who think there better then me. or people with "itz' at the beginning of there name who tell me i love men even though i hate them. thats why i kill them on online video games.

i can only dream.

It should be this way, yes, but it isn't.

I think the MLG playlist is actually one of the worst in terms of player behavior.

What an amazing world that would be! :D

I remember my best week of Halo ever, I got the mythic map pack early for being one of the winners who won the ODST screenshot challenge, the first one where you had to tag it with "Mythic" and "ODST".

I was so happy, and well I had to wait like a week until Halo Wars was released in Europe, but when it was the playlist "Team Mythic" was up and running, and during this time, well, it was the best week of Halo I have ever had. A small community of like 200 players, who would constantly run into each other. It was competitive, and after each game there would be something I had never really recieved in Halo up until this point.

I heard, and recieved, "Good game", even though they lost. I couldn't believe it. Everyone was so nice, and not-douchee. IT was great.

Mattman jr

i know its impossible but it would be great if there were monitors listening in on every match. Just for really bad stuff like racism and sexists. not really for trash-talking and tea-bagging. i mean its just a game, but racism and sexism are starting to get really bad.

Otherwise known as the Grand Unified Theoy of Internet -blam!-gery.

And that's why Halo 3 multiplayer sucks right there.

Well if iam splitscreening that usually means im playing with my brothers or close friends.

The result is usually fights often of the fist variety due to "screen watching" and general competitiveness/gloating.

Then again this is often the result of our Wii sports outings aswell lol.

With more attitudes like the OP there might one day be peace on this earth.
