One of the things that I think will help out environmentally in the gameplay of Halo Reach is that the maps (or part of the maps) are destructible. So when you play a map it can turn more into a battle field. Most of the maps in previous Halo games don't look like a battle took place, and the ones that do stay that way from the beginning of the game to the end. What I think should be integrated into campaign and even multiplayer is destructible maps. So by the end of a multiplayer map it looks like a battle took place, buildings have collapsed, walls have been broken, etc. For a good example of what I'm trying to say I'll use High Ground. The map is made to look like there was an extreme CTF game going on but every structure is solid and stays the same from beginning to end. Now picture High Ground a complete base at the beginning of the game with no holes in the walls and deformed buildings. Then through out the game you can create your own destruction resulting in a different looking High Ground at the end of every game. Now that would be a BAMF map. And another thing about inserting this into multiplayer is this eliminates players favorite spots in a map. Players won't be able to control the same spot for an entire game because it won't be as safe because people keep battling there and walls fall down or even holes form in the floor. And I know that this is asking for a lot but if any video game producer could actually incorporate this in a game, guys would sell a nut to get a hold of it.
