My new B.net account is Grizzled Ancient. If you see him, its me.

When I fought against Brutes, i didnt see them as a formidable military force. they seemed more like hired mercenaries instead of an honor bound race.

BUT ELITES!!! now they were a real fight. they seemed just as, if not more, formidable as a SPARTAN. You got a sense that they were fighting because they believed in the cause, and were not just a bunch of monkeys on a chain. It was like they used tactics more (seeing as they should be smarter that those meat heads)

So all im saying is that when we fought brutes, it didnt feel like we were fighting a real military, just a militia of poorly trained aliens. But when we fought Elites, they behaved more like a squad, platoon, or whatnot.

We better not be fighting Brutes...

Climbing on top of the nearest box only to get shot down by the enemy is a tactic? And it make them smarter than the brutes?

Elites will be in Reach. But there is nothing wrong with throwing in a few brute meatshields as well.

Yeah but other than that one thing, they always took cover when they were hit. Brutes always, ALWAYS, go berserk or just stand there

nope.. the brutes just either didnt know that the humans were forunner, or didnt understand. they just followed the prophets blindly not knowing what the -blam!- they were doing.

none of the covies know that the human were forunners execpt for the prohets they elites were just as blind as the brutes and plus the schism wasnt really about the halo true prupores more of the change of the rank and after that they learned of the true halo ring purpose

n Halo 3 fights against 10 brutes and leave with full shield.

But in Halo 1, if we struggle with 1 Elite and almost died.
